# Person Search Filters

> Supported filters for building natural-language Person Search audiences

Describe the audience in plain English. Combine filters with `and`, `or`, and
exclusions, and specify **current**, **previous**, or **any time** when history
matters.

## Supported filters

| Category | Filters |
| - | - |
| Career | Job title, seniority, employer, company domain, company industry, work city or state, job dates, retirement status |
| Residence | Home city or state, ownership status, current ownership, owner occupancy, purchase date, estimated property value |
| Demographics | Age, gender, marital status, number of children |
| Education | Institution, field of study, level, description, dates, current enrollment |
| Financial | Estimated income, estimated wealth |
| Contact availability | Has phone number, personal email, or professional email |
| Business indicators | Business ownership, likely small-business ownership, frequent business travel |
| Modeled interests | Credit behavior, sports, outdoor activities, charitable giving, retail, investing, and travel |

Career, residence, and education filters can target current, previous, or all
records. Modeled interests describe likely behavior rather than verified facts.

Organizations with connected first-party data can also search their own events
and transactions, such as purchases, signups, engagement, order value, and
activity dates.

## Constrained values

| Filter | Supported values |
| - | - |
| Seniority | `Entry`, `Mid`, `Manager`, `Intern`, `Director`, `Senior`, `VP`, `Executive`, `Assistant` |
| Gender | `Female`, `Male` |
| Marital status | `Single`, `Married` |
| Number of children | `0` through `6` |
| Education level | `Bachelors`, `Masters`, `Associates`, `High School`, `Doctorate`, `License / Certificate`, `Diploma`, `Postgraduate`, `Unavailable / Unknown` |
| Property ownership | `Owned`, `Rented`, `Unknown` |

## Financial ranges

Income and wealth use predefined ranges. A threshold query can include every
range that overlaps the requested amount.

| Estimated income | Estimated wealth |
| - | - |
| `<$100K` | `<$100K` |
| `$101K - $250K` | `$100K-$500K` |
| `$251K - $500K` | `$500K-$1M` |
| `$501K - $1M` | `$1M-$2M` |
| `>$1M` | `$2M-$5M` |
| | `$5M-$10M` |
| | `$10M-$20M` |
| | `$20M-$50M` |
| | `>$50M` |
